This is going to be another blow-out affair celebrating the island of Puerto Rico, one of the birthplaces of salsa! There will be dance lessons, all night social dancing, games with awesome prizes, tasty food and amazing performances, including the ifreestyle 6th anniversary production. Titled "THE ARROGANT PRINCESS", this production tells the story of one of the oldest Puerto Rican folktales - with choreographedy by Caryl Cuizon, Angus Dirnbeck and Mel Urrutia and artistic direction by Vladimir Jon Cubrt. LOVESEXMONEY at the FACTORY THEATRE!
Produced by Taylor Graham (Director of TWS), Theatre Brouhaha presents LOVESEXMONEY, a sexy, witty, romantic, comedy-drama about intimacy in the information age. It asks questions about the nature of love and ownership when everything is available for a price. It's a hot piece of theatre to thaw out those deep winter blues. SHAGARA MOON PRESENTS THE RED SCARF AT THE GEORGE IGNATIEFF THEATRE
Come see the world premiere of this belly dance fable adapted from Hans Christian Andersen's classic tale "The Red Shoes". A two-act, full-length Middle Eastern ballet with a mix of Egyptian belly dance, folklore and contemporary dance. Featuring Vladimir Jon Cubrt. Runs from November 19th to the 21st, 2010.

THE LAB CAB FESTIVAL at the Factory Theatre

NOW PLAYING: Alameda Theatre's premiere production of
The Refugee Hotel
, in association with Theatre Passe Muraille.
Written and directed by Carmen Aguirre, The Refugee Hotel is a
humorous and heart-breaking portrayal of Chilean political refugees
in Vancouver in 1974. It is a story about love and the strength of
the human spirit.

Zocalo Toronto is excited to announce the addition of
Geoffrey Rutherford and Meredith Heyland to "The Weeping
Salsa" production team. Geoffrey will be doing the lighting design
while Meredith will be designing sets and costumes. We are
thrilled about the final additions to the creative design team.

Taylor Graham and Diego Rupolo to "The Weeping Salsa"
production team.Taylor will be co-directing the show, along
with Vladimir Jon Cubrt. Taylor is presently doing an artistic
internship with Theatre Gargantua. Diego Rupolo is our
new stage manager.
