Samkon and Francis Go Swimming
The third production from Zocalo Toronto is a hilarious and politically incorrect odd-couple comedy. Debuts this summer at the Toronto Fringe Festival.
The Weeping Salsa
Zocalo Toronto's sophomore production premiered at The Theatre Centre in Toronto in November of 2009. A unique format, in that it is a dance/drama, TWS tells the story of star-crossed lovers, and dance partners, Danny and Adele. TWS is a brooding, pulsing story of love, passion and obsession.
Flin Flonning
Vladimir Jon Cubrt's first play, and the debut production for ZoTo, Flin Flonning is a dark comedy about friendship and the struggles of the working class artist living in Toronto. Directed by Aviva Armour-Ostroff, it premiered at the, now defunct,
Diesel Playhouse in May of 2007.
The Zocalo Cabaret
Zocalo Toronto hosted a series of cabaret parties from 2006 to 2008. They were anything goes affairs where one could expect to see everything from a pair of drunken Bavarian acrobats hanging from the ceiling to a Japanese Bon Odori dance circle breaking out. |
